I have a TPI 305 in a 86 Camaro.
Just washed and can't do a thing with it, I washed off the motor and now it is running real rich, started shotgunning parts at it with no availe...any help would be great!
Replaced
MAF, TPS, MAF Relays, Cap and rotor...
now it won't start, I set the TPS to .54...

Re: TPI Trouble...!

Take the intake elbows off and let the MAF dry out for a couple hours incase you got water in there. Also let the motor itself air dry for a couple hours and try again.

Re: TPI Trouble...!

This happened two weeks ago, It was driven for 4 hrs running bad that day hoping it would clean up and oh yah I needed to get home, I just tried to start it today to start a trouble shoot but it wouldn't start at all, fires every now and then with the peddle depressed a bit - it's getting fuel I can smell it so then I started replacing parts.
thought I had messed up the MAF but I guess it is something else...
