Car: 87 Camaro Iroc z28 Engine: 350 TPI Transmission: 700r4 Axle/Gears: 3.23 | New Heads for my 350 TPI
I have a set of 305 heads that have been ported and polished, they have 1.6 roller rockers on them new valves, springs, valve seals, retainers and locks. My question is would it be possible to bolt these 305 heads onto my 350. The 305 heads are from my origninal 305 TPI and they are from a 1987 car as well. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
I have been doing a little more research on my question and see that they will bolt on and have the same 1.94 intake/1.5 exhaust valves. The new question I have is everyone is recomending dished pistons for the compression ratio. If I do not run dished pistons what will my new compression ratio be? I am planing on running a .39 compressed height gasket. Thanks in advance | | |
