Ford Injecter in a TPI

ok, i have 8 injectors outta a 5L mustang, i heard they`ll work in my 350 TPI which is in a 1990 GTA.

i don`t know what Ibs they are though, there orange tops and the numbers are E6TE-A2B on one side and 195500-1153 on the other side. will these work in my 90 350 TPI?

Re: Ford Injecter in a TPI

i put some ford mustang injectors in my 86 305 tpi. bored .030, with comp cam. works great. i know the mustang and 305tpi injectors are both 19lbs, the 350 has 22lb injectors. i would say that they would work if your motor is pretty much stock

My ford FI's are blue topped 24 pounders. My guess (and I stress GUESS) is that yours are 19 pounders which is NOT enough for your 350, which wants 22 pounders.

.....I'd say no.

19lbs injectors will be fine. Will need to bump your fuel pressure to 46psi. Just putting them in will have the car work, but won't get the exact power potential out of it. I used 19lbs injectors in mine until I got LT1 injectors. Had no problem with anything.

Re: Ford Injecter in a TPI

well, the thing is i`m trying to pass e-test, i have 8 LT-1 injectors in the car 4 went bad and i failed my e-test, right now i couldn`t care less about lossing power, i just wanted to know if they`d work in my 350, and not cause engine damage cause there too lean at 19 lbs.

any GM V6 injector that would work in my engine.... yes i know WTF am i thinking trying to put V6 injectors in my car, but i`m very very poor and have to use what i can get and GM v6`s are a dime a dosen

Re: Ford Injecter in a TPI
