Need Some Advice And Help

I'm putting a set of Corvette heads in my 350 TPI. Casting number is 10088113. I'm still learning a lot so bare with me.

Should I replace the rockers and valve springs? I plan to run a zz4 cam with these heads. So what size rockers should I get? Or should I keep the stock one's with that cam. Someone guide me in the right direction.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Need Some Advice And Help

If im not mistaked if your car is an original l98 you already have the corvette l98 heads. Now i dont remeber casting numbers too well and i dont remeber which vertion of the l98 head was aluminum and which was cast iron but again if you have an original l98 you have the same heads as the corvette just probably in cast iron. As for the valve springs you should always replace them with atleast new factory springs but you should try to use springs that are recomended for a particular cam. Ide give GM performance parts a call and see what specific springs you should use with that cam or atleast look it up. As for the rockers you dont have to change them but a set of roller rockers would be nice. 1.6 ratio or a 1.5 ratio is a judgement call though.
