Dyno results this weekend....

For those of you that might have missed it...

My lateest setup was tested Satuday on the dyno.

Results are as follows:

1st pull netted 365 HP & 395 TQ

After Kevin91z did his tuning tricks the net result was 373 HP & 410 TQ.

All this with a car that passed Ca. smog w/cats in place.

See sig.

Very good. Shows what a TPI system can do. The torque numbers are amazing for a so called "short runner" system. Don, your rear tires are going to hate you.

Quite a bit, out of the box they are bad.

Edelbrock says 259/204 @.600...Actual 236/193

Now...270/218 (w/o the pipe on the ex.)

Now that you mention it, I remember seeing your post on the flow numbers comparing out of the box #'s tot he actual flow #'s. I may have to send you a set to port for me!

"i also got the edelbrock intake and slp cold air intake"

We had a 383 car on the dyno with the SLP cold air intake. I don't remember the exact results but the horsepower increase without the SLP intake was around 15 horsepower. You would be better off with a custom made cold air intake. My motor showed no loss of power with my CAI and the filter on.

man i used to live in victorville california..... if i was still there i would let you guys tune my car.... my tpi system may not be ported like dyno dons but its pretty hogged in the pic i showed in the eariler post.... if i had 330whp and 350wtq i would be pretty happy..... i'll probably get my car dynoed later this year just to see where its at....
