just completed a TBI to TPI swap but having problems
I get fuel to prime, the engine cranks, but I have no spark. I also haven't tested to see if the injectors are firing or not... if anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it... thanx guys

you are still using the same distributor as before correct? If its a different distributor check in to the ignition control module or pickup coil. If it's the same 1 then you need to diagnose if its the injector driver or the wiring to the injectors.

well I took everything from the donor car... and I used the distributor from the donor car since that engne is a 5.7 TPI and the one I took out from my car was a 5.0 TBI

well someone will correct me if i'm wrong, at least i hope ,but i beleive the distributors on all late model efi applications 80-90s is the same on v8s pretty much. In other words use your old distributor and try again.
or if you would rather, pull your ignition control module and take it to the nearest autozone they can test it for you and that would most likely solve the problem.
if you still have a problem after rent noid lights from autozone and see if the injectors are pulsing ok.
