Help! Temp. Sending unit location?

Can anyone post a pic of where the temp. Sending unit is located?
I have an 88 gta. 350 tpi. I already tried the drivers side head. But i cant
Seem to find anything. Thanks.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe its on the driver's side head between 1 and 3. I think its a single wire and kind of tucked below the exhaust manifold, so you probably won't see it unless you get your head down there or feel for it.

You are correct, it is on the driver's side b/w 1 and 3. On the passenger b/w 6 and 8 is the cool fan switch.

So i found the sender, but theres no wire.
Where would i plug in the other side of the wire?

The wire is going to come out of one of the harnesses. On my '87 Iroc the wire comes out of the harness on top of the a/c compressor, but the accessories were set up weird in '87. On yours I think the alt. is on that side. Might just check around the nearby harnesses to see if you find a loose wire without a home. Maybe somebody with the same year can trace it back and let you know specifically where to look.
