ditching afr 180 thinking about getting dart iron heads

hey guys.. i was thinking about ditching the idea of afr 180 because i dont feel like milling aluminum heads to make up for lost compression, getting non align rockers and all that stuff cause its too expensive for a daily driver running a tpi system... Im just going with the Dart iron head kit for my build.. these are bolt ons and they will not change my current 9.7 compression ratio and i will not have to change rocker arms... not looking for horsepower bragging rights just want some more power... how much of an improvement do you think i will see with these over stock l98 heads.... i will aslo be doing a 1.6 rocker arm swap...

Why don't you just use a Vortec head and switch your lower intake. That would be the best bang for your buck.

Re: ditching afr 180 thinking about getting dart iron heads

because the cost of buying vortec heads and having them setup up to handle my hotcam and switching to a different intake i could have the heads above and they should outperform the vortec heads..... also i hear that the vortec intake does not flow well at all compared to the standard highflow intake... my aftermarket intake is port matched to my hogged out slp runners anyway.. basically i would like to find a set of good iron head that have 64cc 180 intake 2.02 and 1.60 valves thats compatible with my intake takes self align rockers and is a straight bolt on for 1000.00 or less basically heads like the iron l98 but flow much better..... i really dont want alumnium...
