TPi fuel rail coating

Hi :

I'm replacing , and cleaning my TPi fuel rail , and i noticed some grey coating getting off from the crossover tubes and fuel lines, i picked one crossover tube , and started to cleaning and sanding it , but my question is , i should coat this again ? can i leave it without coating ? , i have some "hi temp paint" , but i think , this paint probably dont stay if gets wet with chemicals like fuel.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks!!

Re: TPi fuel rail coating

The coating is prolly just there to help against corrusion, but im not 100% sure.
And if you have high temp engine paint, spray it with that, watch so you dont get it inside the rail..

Fuel shouldnt be on the outside of that crossgoing tubes.
