accel supper ram..thinking about something new

been running the accle super ram for a long time 93/94. always ran good.
lots of tork.... but i know some new stuff is out there by now.
had it on and off a few times just to check things out in the top end..over the years..(yes it takes a bit of work) about 45 min longer then some..lol

have seen a few links and photos.. of what looks like a tunnle ram base
with a mini ram top..

anybody have info on some of the new stuff.. Links?

my mech roller is just at .563/586 lift(street car) and runs fantasticfrom 1500 up the 5800 to 6200... and i dont use any smog parts.. just good clean gas guzzling fun! after all this is a steet car..lol

"smog"
they play there games..Ill play Mine!

29x13 15 ET Streets
9" ford 4.11 locker
700R4 (now a 4 speed auto) with 3200 stall (love this trany)
south side lift bars/sub frame cntrs
sportsmen Fogger NOS (a modest 180HP boost)
trick flow heads AFR ported/match (accle super ram intake)
30lbs hr ijtrs.. set up with the help of linefelter and hyprtech
Lingenfelter 383 490Hp short block
and a list way to long.

looking for a newer? TPI set up.

as the new eng is in the 420 cid.. at 11.1
and at this time i could drop the CR down to like 8.1 and add a Vertec with a new TPI also...with 8 to 9 Psi of boost but thats another $3000
and iv been thinking about it for the last 9 years..

so anybody running some of the new TPI aftermarket set ups?

Re: accel supper ram..thinking about something new

There is nothing wrong with a SuperRam that a little porting won't take care of. There are a couple of threads on the subject of how to open up a SuperRam. It will support a lot of power and rpm if opened up correctly.
