Charcoal Canister

im workin on takin my camaro apart and i was wondering if i took the charcoal canister off would affect anything if i still drove it with it off. also it nothin is affected what do i do about that vacuum line? do i plug it with something or what, thanks Ty.

Well I know that my 87 GTA has a big canister, I do believe that there are some Aftermarket companies that make much smaller canisters for Hot Rod mods, etc....

You could, and I want to, look into getting one of those for my ride!

Fumes from the tank will go into the air ( might not pass emission visual) and you might get a code up from tank purge not operating.

You need to vent the tank somehow and plug the vac lines

i dont have emissions testing and if indiana ends up gettin them my car will be built by then and i wont have to worry about it anyway haha thanks though that helps out a lot
