Distributor suggestions

I recently scored a MSD pro billet, blaster 2, and 6AL setup from a friend, Unfortunately, I cannot use the dizzy on my 86 lb9 iroc...

What aftermarket dist do you guys recommend that wont cost me an arm and a leg? I have dome some searching, but its like parts companys have pretty much forgotton about the type of electronic advance hei I HAVE to run, and am having little or no luck finding anything.

Unless there is a way I can use this pro billet distributor... Thanks in advance.

Just run the 6al with any stock comp controlled HEI dist and buy a good HEI coil
Or you could always go to the later F-body remote coil dist setup and use the new coil you have

Re: Distributor suggestions

Going to a later set up would require a ecm change correct? I had thought of that due to wanting to elminate the 9th injector.

No
'165 ECM used '86 - '89 with both type dist
There is a $15 adapter harness to convert the large plug on the HEI to small plug on remote coil dist.Have to run wires for remote coil

Can just get chip reprogrammed to take out CSI and add extra start up fuel through the injectors like the '89+ had
