| Re: Injector testing The ohm reading and voltage readings do not mean the pintle is able to move or not. The ohm reading tests the coil windings, the voltage just assures the ecm is trying to do its job. Its possible the pintle is stuck closed for some reason, and the only way to really verify that beyond what you've done is pull the fuel rails and crank the car and see if that injector sprays fuel or not. I'm guessing it wont, and personally I would just try to find a replacement to put in there while the fuel rail is off and forget testing it any more than you already have. |
