*** Error Codes 43 & 54 *** How do it get rid of them ??

I am some error code issues. The main one is code 43 (Low voltage at electronic spark timing circuit). I replaced the module in the distributor, but I still get the code 43.

I also get an occasional code 54 (Low voltage at fuel pump OR Low voltage at Fuel pump relay OR Output failure at quad driver module). This error code comes and goes.

The ecm is a 1990 f-body (7730) with a custom chip.

I need some direction as to possible fixes for this.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Haha Dave,
I did a search here for code 43 and you popped up first.
Give more details. Have your burned a new chip lately or???
a few threads that came up.

Maybe someone can help with the pinout. I think a wire goes diecrtly from the ecm to the knock sensor.( But in your case it will goto that plug with the jumper from the old 85 esc ckt. Overall should be a direct run from the ecm to hte knock sensor. You need to verify this.
I dont remember the pinout for the 7730.
Maybe somehere can post it.
