Still running the stock flat top pistons?

I would suggest the AFR 195 Eliminator angle plug 65cc chambers. If you go up to the 75cc you will lower your compression ratio.

I used 1034's, milled to achieve 62cc combustion chambers. The cam you describe sounds like the Comp XFI268.

How is the clearance with the straight plug angle with your headers? I have the 1038's on my 383 and have plenty of room around the primarys.

Good plug - to - header clearance. Easy plug changes with a short sparkplug socket; plenty of sparkplug wire boot clearance using MSD 90* plug terminals.

Re: What afr heads that will go with my setup

I would suggest calling AFR to discuss your head / header combo and get their advice. I don't have any experience with any other headers & AFR straight plug heads; the heads & headers went on my motor at the same time.

I have the 1040's milled to 62cc. Very happy. Good spark plug clearance with my 2055's.
