Car dies after engine warms up, then will start up when cold

I have a 91 firebird with a 350 tpi. Here's my issue- my car will start up with no problems and idles just fine after about 10 mins or so (when temp gauge reaches normal temp). The eng will stubble and tries to stay running before it dies the last time I did this it backfired through the intake a couple times before it died. Then after a while I start the car again with no problems and it run like a champ until it warms up again and samething happens again. It seems like it loses spark but still have fuel. I'm going to monitior fuel pressure when I do this again to elinmate an fuel issue but just wanted to know if anyone had any other ideas about this problem. Picking peoples' brains
