HELP... Fuel line issues
So i finally got my 88 IROC up, running, and driving and now i smell fuel. Now I am in school to be a mechanic and am an apprentice at Herb Chambers Chevrolet so I can become a tech so I know a thing or two about fixing the car. My issue is mu fuel lines are leaking and I cant find an inexpensive fuel line kit for the IROC. Is there some type of inexpensive line out there for our cars or am I S*** out of luck? I was thinking of going with the braided stainless steel lines or something similar. Like I said i go to school and that causes me to be somewhat low on money. I hate having my beauty sitting when I know I can fix it but I'm lost on what to get for the lines. Any suggestions?

Depends where its leaking, is it a steel line or the rubber hoses? Also I assume you've checked the the o-rings as I'm sure you know these are not just double flared lines? You can get all of the replacement lines from classic industries for like 50-100 each, pre-bent even in stainless.

Also you could just flare and replace a section of the steel line rather than replace the whole thing.
