Engine starts, runs fine and suddenly dies on its own
Bought a beautiful 1992 Camaro B4C 1LE in Kansas City, was driving it down to South Texas, car ran beautifully for 800 plus miles and suddenly died on me, 130 miles from home. When I tried restarting the car, it sounded like I had ran out of gas even though the gas gauge was marking a hair or two over 1/4 mark.
With help from a Local mechanic and with some help from the previous owner, with the key on the on position, we pushed down on the fuel valve and gas did come out fine.
Started the car and it started, drove it 13 miles and gassed up. Made it home safely. Since I've had it home I drove it 100 miles beautifully until this afternoon when it suddenly died on me again. I pushed on the fuel valve and, again, gas came out fine. Car started for several minutes and then I turned it off. I'm regretting that I should have let it run for several more minutes, but when I tried starting it again, the car does not want to run.
Pushing on the fuel valve does not work this time. Do you guys have any idea what the problem is?

You do realize checking any of the basics and including that info in your post would help us immensely in helping you........
Did it buck, sputter and stall or was it a clean cut off?
The stall usually tells you more than a crappy restart will.
Get a fuel pressure gauge on it, should be about 38-39 vacuum on and 43 with it off.
Is the car low mileage or high mileage?
Original injectors?
Fuel pump vent valve ok letting fresh air in to the tank as fuel is uses? Pumps do not like pulling fuel in a vacuum.
Fuel pumps do get weak and not outright die, been there done that.
Pickup coils in distributor are always suspect, especially if car gets hot shuts down and will then restart.
Have also seen ignition switches cause issues as well when they get hot, then work normally when cool.

Its a clean cut off, I do recall it sputtering/hesitating at stop/red signs/lights. It would sometimes turn off at a complete stop, but I would just put it in neutral and give it a lil gas until it was time to go and the car would run fine.

A clean cut out usually is on the ignition side of things like pickup coil or ignition switch.
What u are saying seems to suggest fuel issues though.
Without being there hard to say.
Get a fuel pressure gauge on it and see what u get

It boiled down to a fuel pump issue...replacing it now, should be done by Friday!
