Hey Guys, I broke the EGR Valve Connector that bolts into the side of EGR valve while installing the new one, does anyone know the part number for this connector & where I can get a new one.

Thanks for any direction on this!

Re: Broken EGR Valve Connector

That's the EGR temp switch and it's hard to get a new one. Just solder it back together.

If soldering fails, take a look at this thread:

Re: Broken EGR Valve Connector

Let me try this..

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tech...gr-switch.html

Here' the post:

Not sure where to post this ,but the oft referenced discontinued GM Egr switch 14087416 is now available as a reproduction part for the 1985 Corvette. Althought there seems to be a little confusion on the p/n verus the wire lenght. Corvettes used this part with 17 inch wire lenght in 1985 and 12 inch (14087415) for 1986thru 1989.
Anywho my wife's 1989 FB formula 305TPI, 5 spd started the start and die routine, which usually means a stuck open EGR valve. So I decided to replace the EGR valve, MAT sensor and the EGR switch all at the same time.
I found the repo EGR switch at Davies Corvette in New Port Richey,Fla. Their part number is 333025 and Micheal there opened the box and assured me that the part had a 17 inch wire and OEM connector. It costs $60 but the shiiping was reasonable and quick to Ohio.
I ordered one and the box is marked 1985 corvette egr switch on the top but the end flap reads 14087415, style 2. But the correct part was in the box and worked fine to fix the intermittent problem on the original, which had the conection on the egr switch broken but sometimes working.
Hope this helps some with the EGR switch problem.
Davies Corvette is 800-236-2383 or www.corvetteparts.com ask for Micheal, a real helpful fellow . I would attach pic's but I don't know how.

Re: Broken EGR Valve Connector

About to buy the vette temp switch myself, swapped out the EGR due to code 44 and am now getting code 32. Thank god they started reproducing those again, it was looking pretty grim for us thirdgen owners
