Transmission Fluid Leak?? Help me!

Ok, My tranny fluid leaked out of my transmission pan, We took it out, My gasket was flat, Replaced that, Took care of that leak. Now we had the car up on ramps and it was on an incline, My friend seen that it was leaking out of the kickdown cable??? We checked the fluid and here it was a little bit overfilled, We let it drain for about a minute. It stopped. We let it off of the ramps, No leak yay!!! I took it to my friends house, And when I turned my car off, It was smoking from underneath the car, It was coming from behind the catalytic converter on the passenger side. My dad (he's good with cars) said that it was just from all the fluid leaking out and getting on the pipes that it was just smoking from that and it should be ok in a day or two. U guys think this could be anything else???

Could be but I i was my car I would check the tv cable seal to see if it is torn, cracked or even there. I had a similer problem with my TA and I had a trans leak only when it was full, it woud leak a quart and stop. So I ran it a quart low (maybe thats why my trans went out) . When I pulled my trans out my seal was pushed inside the trans causing it to leak.
