is the corvette servo worth getting?

Im having my tranny rebuilt next week (700r4 w/b&m shift kit) and was wondering if the corvette servo was worth getting. Also Im giving the guy a TCI kit to rebuild it with and was wondering if they are any good.

Do yourself a favor & pass on the B&M and get the Trans-Go Shift kit. If you decide on keeping the B&M, then make sure that they "do not" drill the second gear feed hole over .096 (best is .086 with stock torque converter), or you will get very firm if not brutal light throttle 1-2 shifts.

Well the B&M already in there so Im obviously stayin with that. Pro-built, do you recommend the servo? How are the TCI internals?

In your case the Vette servo might make 2nd gear to firm (depending on what the hole size was drilled in VB plate) at light throttle, but it will help third gear though.

I second skipping the B&M. Why is it being O/D'ed if you had the B&M in there anyway?

Maybe I wasnt clear:
The tranny right now just has a B&M shift kit but its been slipping going into 3rd.
The whole tranny is being rebuilt with a TCI kit (bands, clutches, etc).
I was just curious of the corvette servo.
Pro-built, thanks, I think I'll skip the servo then.
Transfixleo, try reading the whole post first !
