Everyday, I look at my Trans/Am, and it makes me sad to see its current state of disrepair. I don't even know how long it has been.
When I bought the Nissan, I assumed it was my daily driver, not my exclusive driver.

It is a 355 82 trans am. My mods are here, my 82 T/A

Send a message via ICQ to ede
if i were going to consider something like b&m fluid i'd just mix type f with dextron. i use synthetic, mobil 1 or amsoil

I have a good idea why it costs that much, but can't offer any evidence that it's worth that much...

Well I used it and I think I feel a difference. I have heard that it makes the transmission overheat... is that true?

I hear it's very bad for a tranny, if I recall properly it uses some kind of fluid that used to be used in cars back in the 60s or so.

B&M Trick Shift allows the clutches/band to slip longer while a shift is being made, and comes on all at once at the end of the shift, making it appear that the shifts are firmer. Use a good quality Dexron III for fluid and "toss" the B&M fluid. Amsoil & Red Line are good synthetics. Mobil, Aamco, & AC Delco are good Dexron III non-synthetics.
