VSS for 85 Camaro Berlinetta 700/R4

Hi there,

Just a small question. Does anyone know if there are aftermarket VSS sensors for an 85 Camaro Berlinetta 2.8 V6 with a 700/R4?.

Mine is shot, and GM wants $239.00 CDN plus Taxes for a new one, non-refundable, with a 7-10 day wait for it. I'd really like to get my hands on an aftermarket, with a cheaper price tag than that.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Standard dash?

If it is, it's a little yellow box stuck to the back of the cluster... get one at the junkyard.

Let me know if you still need the VSS for your Berlinetta. I'll sell Ya' one.

This thing is a small yellow box mounted to under the drivers side kick panel ( IN A BERLINETTA ! ) . it should have wiring coming in from the tranny and out to the speedo unit and the cruise system.
