V6 T5 driveshafts v V8 T5 driveshafts

Are they the same length and are the splines the same on the front? I have a V6 T5 going behind a 350 in a few days time (temporarily) so Have the V6 driveshaft. I have been offered a V8 T5 and wondering if the V6 driveshaft will fit into the rear of it?

Thanks.
Andy.

No!
The V6 has 14 splines and the V8 has 26 splines. Belive me, cause I bought at tranny and found out the hard way, two days ago.. One solution is to buy a V6 Clutch to make the V6 tranny fit but it will not hold for long. But i might hold until u get the right tranny.

Thanks for your input Swede, but we were talking about the driveshaft end of the box and not the input shaft front bit!

Thanks anyway! Hope you get it all sorted!

Andy.
