gears in a 1988 firebird
I was wondering what gears I had. I have a 1988 firebird 305tbi vin number 1g2fs21esjl215601 thanks

Can't tell by the VIN, but probably a 2.73 or 3.08. Do you have your RPO codes in the center console still?

by the way, it's a pro/am if that helps, but it won't be for long, hoping to switch from the tbi to a carb. just wanted to find out the gears before I started switching them out

305's with a Automatic all came with a 10-bolt 2:73 as stock.
