Does any one really know what will work, when doing this. i have a 153 tooth flywheel, And a 10.5 inch pressure plate, so i need a 14 spline clutch disc, that will fit in the pressure plate. what clutch disc will work? Also i know i need a bell housing, but does it have to be out of a third gen, or could it be any v8 bellhousing as long as it is set up for a hydrulic clutch. or maybe a bell housing off a 4.3 L since they are practically the smae as a small block( - 2 pistons).
Please help
If its a 14 spline input shaft its a V-6 T-5. I'm not sure about the bell housing but you will need a clutch for a S-10. Look in a summit or jegs catlog. BTW, don't plan on that tranny lasting very long behind a 350. The V-8 T-5 maybe, but not the V-6.

The bell housing has to be out of a V8 one of these cars. No way around that.
What transmission is it? If it's a V8 transmission, then you need a 26-spline clutch. If it's a 6-cylinder one, then you need to spend extra money on the different clutch disk to put in the inferior part.... kind of backwards if you ask me.
And of course, the flywheel needs to be the right one for whichever tpye of block & crank you have, either the 2-piece rear main sel type, or the 1-piece RMS (85-back or 86-up).

it is out of a v6 and i know it won't ladst long, but if i can do it for about 100 dollars, since i already have a fly wheel and a pressure plate, i can baby it till i get enough for a t56 in a month or 2, the engine is a 2 piece rear main, and that is the fly wheel i have. but on the bellhousing does it have to be out of a camaro or firebird?
