How much for a T5 conversion, complete?

Just curious as to how much these setups are going for. My friend is looking at one and I would like to know if he's getting a fair deal. Tranny was mated to a V6 car.

I don't know about pricing, but if the trans is out of a V6 car and is going to be put in a V8 car, the trans input spline count will be different. The V8's used a finer spline than the V6 cars did. You can get special clutch disks to make this work, but just be prepared to factor in the added cost of the special clutch disk to the price of the conversion.
