Hello all,
I have a '89 Firebird with a 700R4 and believe I it has a gear driven speedo. I know the rest is electronic as the wire goes to the yellow box buffer. Anyway I just put in a 3.42 gears in (trashed the 2.73). Now I need to change the speedo gears to the following, Driver Gear 15 tooth and Driven Gear 40 tooth. Anyway how hard is this job to do?? Do I lose tranny fluid?? How much beer do I need?? Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.
