blown tranny?!?! plz help!!! Continued

Finally pulled the tranny(what a b*tcH that was) and what do ya know? the front seal is blown clean off the transmission and it flush with the torque converter. No problem, I just put a new seal in with some sealant. tranny is waiting to go back in tomorrow (Took me 7 damn hours to get everything out) Everything looked intact besides the seal, so thats probably the only thing that was wrong with it. what should i do before i put the tranny back in? anything special that i could do to it now(cheap?)

Did it have a seal retainer on it? you may have more problems than you think. How many miles on the trans? I've seen front seals blown out because front bushing wear. Look at the converter real good, any scores where it goes into the pump is a bad sign.
