700r4 to TH350 changeover help needed

Changing the 700r4 to a th350(long tailshaft) in a 92 camaro. The old transmission is out. But the torque arm will not bolt to the th350.

I've found a bracket from b&m :

Q: What all is needed to make this bracket work?

I've found another topic on this board that gave more info on the swap

Quote:
On the box it says that if you are swapping a 700, than you are required to get GM Part #10024028 or 10034259 Torque Arm Outer Bracket.
Do I need additional parts like mentioned above /\ , new bushings, etc.? I've also read that you have to grind rivets off the old bracket or something like that.

What do we need to convert this over? Anyone have any additional pictures or info?

Thanks

this is the most simple way besides having the correct tailshaft on the tranny to swap in a th350. plus you get an adjustable torque arm in the deal.

You can get a 2" spacer plate (i am not sure where, ask a tranny shop) and use your 700r4 tailhousing. This is what my freind did.
As for me, I got spohns adj. torque arm.
