converting auto to manual

I have an 88 iroc 305 TPI with a auto tranny. What would I have to do to convert the car to manual. what parts will I need and will It take alot of work. also has anyone done this yet? thanks

well, there are probably thousands of this exact thread on this board... in fact, I think there's a tech article on it...

check www.thirdgenresource.com for a tranny and swap kit with all the parts.. the tech article here on TGO has the parts list also, I believe.

You need to ask specific questions in order to get responses. Other users tend not to reply to general questions like this because for one you can find almost all of the information you need by searchign the forum. Two, it would take a long time to type a response that is detailed enough to give you all the pertinent info. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I see you're new, so I want you to get the most out of your TGO experience.
