ok i know this is going to be a stupid question but i know nothing about automatics. are all th 350s the same? ive read about tv cables that hook to carb for shifting and vaccum lines for shifting. im going to install a th 350 in an 85 z28 and want to know as much as possible. it had a 5 speed in it. is the pedal swap difficult?

Pedals arent bad. With the th350, you dont have a TV cable, you have a kickdown cable. Likewise the transmission uses a vacuum modulater, that is hooked to manifold vacuum.

However you do it, the TH350 is a lot more forgiving with how you connect everything than the 700R4.
