I was just wondering on the posibility of the T.V. cable to become "warn out" or stretched over time. I just put $1700 into my trans and my T.V. cable has 160,000 + miles on it. I wanted to know if these acctully wear out or stretch over time.
Thanks
Kevin

I'm not sure if they stretch over time, or if internal wear in the trans makes them too long. They do self adjust over time to compensate for one or the other.
If you've got $1,700 tied up in your trans I'd say that spending $30 on a new TV cable is small potatoes to be absolutely sure.
BTW, I'd get one directly from GM. The OEM quality is better than every "parts store" cable I've ver seen.
