I am getting ready to overhaul ( a previous TCI) my 1988 vintage TH700R4 and would like some advice on some of the upgrades I have seen posted recently. I am a full time Allison techician and understand the basic idea of non electronic transmissions.

also Latest project car,'86 IROC stock 305TPI hit on left side,but not too bad ( now repaired and equipped with the 1LE brake system). Also 1990 IROCZ 5.0 TPI 5 speed (drive train has 150 miles since new), and another 1990 IROCZ 5.7 G-92 etc., and yet another 1990 IROC-Z, red w/flames, and 1988 IROC-Z convertible, red w/59,000 miles.
Let me get it apart for inspection. That is a very comprehensive kit you offer.
The clutches in the trans I recently installed have turned to dust and are suspened in the ATF. I have seen this before in a transmission that has been stored for a long time, the clutched just disintgrate. I was told this is due to the humidity attacking the friction bonding agent.
