speedometer recalibraion. need help asap

i need 2 know if there is anyway to recalibrate my speedometer. i just changed rear gears (went from 2.73 to 3.42) my tranny is auto (700r4) the sending unit and is electronic. this is starting to become a nightmare. (i just paid a ticket). any help would be a great help. thanks.

depending on the size of your tires will determine that speedo gears you need in the tranny... you can go to www.700r4.com and click on the speedo calculater to find the exact gears you need to put in and what you have now.. or post your tire size on here....

sry to jack the thread but i did this 2 i went fro a 3.08 to a 3.42 and i own a t-5. i have the factory 245/50ZR16 tires

Probably going to have to get the dakotadigital.com VSS converison box. THat's what I had to do when I went from my factory 10-bolt 3.42 to my Ford 9" 4.11s
