Powerglide for daily driving?

With my new mods I should be in the 600hp realm, I am not a big fan of 700-r4's nor am I a fan of th350's...I'm really thinking about getting a bad to the bone powerglide and being done with it.

Question is what kind of RPM would I be pushing at 70mph with moderate gearing?

glides don't work well in heavy cars

High gear is 1 to 1 in a th350,400,or a glide. Your RPM will depend on rear gears and tire height. I would not put a glide in a heavy car with only 600 hp. It will be a pig out of the hole. It will also run hotter and increase trans temps on the street due to the extra converter slippage you will encounter due to the taller first gear. Put a 350 or 400 in it IMO.
