t5 rebuilding

going to rebuild the t5 i bought for my ride, the cluster gear and maindrive are toast. can it be upgraded to any WC parts I have an 83 model tranny so its non WC

basically can i swap in a WC cluster and mainshaft??

if you do a search there a lot of info but i'll answer anyways

no you cannot put world class parts in a non world class case and vice versa

i wouldnt rebuild a t5 again with a t56 in the world.

Axle/Gears: 3.73, 3.90, 4.88, 3.55, 3.54, 7.00

NWC T5s are basically boat anchors. If you can get a WC then yu can upgrade it with superalloy gears or G-Force gears and make it as strong as a T56.

Parts are not interchangeable between the two designs.
