need help with 700r4

I have no luck with 700 r4. after this I am done with transmissions forever. Maybe

Anyways I put a seperator plate accumulators tv boost valve and rev valve. I also put a servo and gov in the trans. on top of this
I took the valve body apart and sanded the valves with 2000 grit paper.

I fill the trans while warming it up. when I put it in rev it feels like I have the emergency brake on

when it is in neutral it whines and acts like it is kind of in drive.

in od it is slugish and will hardly move third is a little better second is fine and first is good.

I reopened the pan to check the preasure valve and it was in the spot that I put it in and it has about 1/4 inch play and is springgy.

I need the help of the third gen gurus on this one but all good help is appreciated

Since you "sanded" the valves, (this is a no-no), chances are you have some valves that are sticking, and can never be freed up. Start all over with another valve body to do this right.

I had the trans rebuilt and the sunshell was on its way out and the valves on the vb were sticking.

I used a 13 vane upgrade kit, the beast sunshell and Z-pack. along with the other upgrades and a rebuild kit. I also put a new convertor in.

I have to take the govenor out again because my wot shifts are two high but I am really happy with the performace of the trans and the shifts

the Z-pak did wonder to the 3-4 clutch pack and the shifts as well as holding power.
