V6 T5 and V8 T5 Identification

Tried to search but the site search feature is currently not working. I know there is a difference between the v8 and v6 t5, and believe that you can tell by the input shaft spline number. I need to know which trans has which spline number. Thanks.

It will work, you will have to change the clutch disc to a V6 14 spline or get a custom 14 spline 10.4 disc. also you will need to cut off about 1/2 inch of the tip of the input shaft. I ran a v6 wct5 out of a 92 camaro for about a year in my 87 GTA after the NWC t5 broke with no problems.
