Car: 1982 Trans-Am Engine: 355 w/ ported 416s Transmission: T10, hurst shifter Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, true-trac, 3.73 | I'd use Red line synthetic gear oil for the diff. Sure it's more pricey, but think how often you change rear end oil, and how much (volume) you're going to need... Then it's not so pricey.
I think the later T5's were spec'ed to take ATF. I know, sounds weird, but it's what I heard. Check if your year is meant to take that or not (or see what's in it first..) |
