T-5 fluid change

Ok, last night I replaced the fluid in my tranny. I decided to use the dump the fluid in through the top method. After I drained the old fluid and replaced the plug, I pulled the shifter out and replaced the fluid. At the time I wasnt thinking about resealing it so I wasn't prepared. I scraped the old black RTV off, but all I had was the blue 777 RTV. I smeared it on and replaced the shifter as normal. Will the blue hold up? Did I mess any thing up by using the blue? I have used the blue stuff on the thermostat before with good results and I have heard of it being used for hi temp applications, but I am unsure of the affects of the tranny fluid on it. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,

TheCob

It'll be fine.
