700R4 or WC T5

Thanks in advance for reading my post and any advice you might give. I have a 91 camaro with a 305 and a 700R4 tranny, a guy at my work wants to trade me straight up his WC T5 for my 700R4 and all the parts needed to make mine a stick and his an auto. What do you guys think, which is better for normal driving and the occasional racing your buddies, and is it worth it to go through the hassle of changing an automatic to a stick? Thanks again for your time.

With a stock engine (im assuming you have a TBI) you could make either live but the T-5 is a weak trans even the WC wont take much abuse or HP if you plan on adding any or swapping engines I would stay with the 700..
