Axle/Gears: Richmond 3.73 and Aurburn diff

lock up or non lock up converter?

I am rebuilding my tranny so that means i get a new converter im thinking of going with a 12 inch 2400-2800 stall converter i dont know what spline in need 30 or 27 and i dont know if i need a lock up or non lock up converter....whats the difference?

Are you rebuilding the transmission or are you sourcing it out?

If it's the trans in your 90, then it's a 30, lock up. Before you go purchasing a high stall converter, better include a cam swap to match along with the transmission project.

a total rebuild

Well i want to put a higher stall converter then stock but i know i cant put in to high cause ill have is the stock 305
