4th gen rear swap...parking brake cable?

I've got a 99 rear end to put in my 87 T/A. Will the parking brake cables hook right up, or will I need to do something else? I searched for brake cable, and NOTHING came up. Wow!Thanks!

Hmmmm...I searched for some more stuff and got no results, either. I searched for Camaro and got zero...search is no workie.Anybody know anything about the 4th gen parking brake cable hook-up?

nothing is a direct bolt in, you need to "make" something work for now. Edmiller was working on getting custom cables made-up but they have been over a year in the making and things are not looking good. look for a thread in the brake board titled "Hey Ed"

i did the same for my car and no the parking brake is a little short you have to buy a new one or customize one but i haven't done eather i just haven't hooked it up but i can tell you it won't reach.

Re: 4th gen rear swap...parking brake cable?

I made up this brkt. and welded it to the underside and the stock cables hook right up.

It makes it align like the stock 4th gen.

You do have to reshape the ends of the cables to fit in the stock t-bar.
