i was just curious if anybody could tell me how many quarts of fluid would be needed on a 700r4 after a filter change? ,what brand of fluid?, i read somewhere that a 200r4 filter provides firmer shifts than a 700r4 filter,is this true? ,and is it alright to use a 200r4 filter in a 700r4? , any insight would be appreciated, thanks ,joe
i guess TCI uses 200 filters in all their 700's thats why im asking ,TCI is a respectable transmission distributer but i know transmission are expensive and i dont want to mess anything up but if it'll give a netter shift by putting a different filter in than im game as long as it dont hurt anything
I have never heard of such a beast before. If I studied my valvebody more I could probably give more insight, but I wanted that piece back together. I guess in theory the filter might flow better, but if it flows better, logic says it won't filter as good, which can be wrong from time to time, but most of the time that thought process is pretty dead on.
I couldn't find any reason to do so while searching online, but if you ever find something, anything that looks like evidence, let me know.
