Just got back from the drags and my clutch is gone after 10 runs! Picked up a couple of tenths after changing to HSR. Now I need a recommendation for my next clutch. Currently running the Zoom half organic half carbon fiber. Felt great at first but hasn't held up like I'd like. What are you running with T5?

ive heard from a handful of people that some of Zoom's clutchs are not the best, i have one of their kevlar clutches and i love it, havent been to the strip with it but so far im more than happy with its performance
My recommendation would be either a Ram Powergrip or maybe a Spec Stage 3. They're in the $300 range, but they're very stout clutches, and the pedal pressure isn't much stiffer than a stock one. People have mixed opinions on the Centerforce DF, but I've never seen a complaint on the Ram PG.

Thanks. I'm going with the Ram Powergrip HD. Rated at 700 HP it should handle my mild 300+ 5.7. I'll let you know how it does.
Sounds like the flywheel wasn't turned properly, and the clutch wasn't broken in.
The clutch needs about 500 miles of driving, stop and go, etc, before you can slam it.

Flywheel was new but I probably was a little hard on it at first. It was in the car for about a year before last weekend. I'll make sure I drive it around more to break it in before I "test" it out this time.
i have a 11" centerforce DF(for a 400sbc flywheel).. dont get it.. the weights are its weak point.. i took mine off and it shifts 100x better.. i'll be going powergrid HD after this wears out..
