I know there is a 2 extra quart 4L60E pan you can get from a 2000 gmc truck that has a recessed drain plug. Any stock size pans have this recessed plug? Or should I just go with an aftermarket stock size pan with a normal drain plug because having a recessed plug shouldn't be needed for a stock sized pan?
I don't think there is a point in having 2 extra quarts in the car when I already have a trans cooler. Its just extra weight added to the car then, right? Also, I plan on lowering the car also in the future, 1 or 2 inches, so ground clearance might be an issue on the street with a deeper pan.
