Car: 1987 Trans Am Engine: 355 Transmission: Th-400 Axle/Gears: 4.56 Richmond Gears | Bad Seal? | This may be a dumb question. I was breaking my cam in last night, and after the car had ran for 1 minutes at 2000-2500 rpm my transmission started puking fluid, about a quart and a half came out. It looks like the front seal blew out, but I started it back up today to check to see where it was actually coming from, but no leak. Was it too full, I looked around the dipstick tube and it didn't look like any had come out there, but if the seal was bad wouldn't it sling fluid all of the time, or just when it was hot? | | |
