th350 fluid leak

hey, i just put a used 305 and th350 in my camaro, and i had to take of oil pan cause the frigging oil seal on the end of the dip stick fell off the attachment, now its leaking tranny fluid. Do you have to put silicone when reusing the gasket? And does the oil pan gasket come with a transgo shift kit, cause i want to be putting one in and might as well if its leaking. Also i believe its leaking from the the speedo cable, i was told their is an o ring that goes in their is this true? if so if i go at gm, can they get me the right one, i don't know what size or anything cause their is none their right now.

Re: th350 fluid leak

Stop at a local trans shop. They usually have them in stock.
