2.73 to 3.73 rear end. What to do

Ok I have a 1986 Trans Am and I think I have a 2.73 in the rear. The Rpo code said it is a limited slip so one day I just nailed it and got a video of me doing so. While watching it i noticed that the right tire was only spinning. So my question is will the 3.73 make both wheels spin? If this is true what should I do to upgrade it. Should I get new gears for it or buy a new rear end all together. Please help and thanks in advanced

Oh and just if your thinking thats me doing a burnout in my sig. Its not, it is just a neat pic I found and it looked like my car so I claimed it as mine!

Re: 2.73 to 3.73 rear end. What to do

There is a lot of info on this, this question comes up a couple times a week. Basically you'll need a 3 series posi carrier to work with the 3.73's. And it will be cheaper to find a whole rear end with what you want already in it.
